How to Post a Table

    Here is a spreadsheet that I created to autoformat tables.

    Its pretty easy to use, cut and paste your data into the Results sheet, starting in column A.
    Press the button and then go to the Forum Sheet and copy and paste the data there to the forum to get a nice table displayed.

    DOH! I need to go to SS, I thought this was posted today!!

    I tried this with OpenOffice, and it warned about Macros and kept crashing. But thanks anyway.

    Will only work with Excel I'm afraid.

    Alternatively you could use the Sniping Tool on Windows, or the Grab Tool on a Mac, and draw a box around the table you want displayed.
    This will save an image in the clipboard which you can simply paste into the reply box and you will get something like below.

    hi a.r. i know you have a link to chris at hrb i have just noticed while using opera browser[ trying to quicken things up ] you can go back to previous page on hrb system builder or two or three was using firefox, might not be important p.k.

    Does pretty much what the spreadsheet in post#1 does but saves having to ude excel to generate the code.

    @Professor Punting Either drag it into the reply box or use the Upload a File option in the bottom right hand corner of the reply box.

    Thanks Ark. Am I missing something, I don't see an Upload option in bottom right, just post and more options but even when I click more options there's nothing there.
