Finally found some time to have a quick go and it looks like a way forward.
I will have to add in a date reference as at the moment it adds the same in running price against evry outing.

You should add a join on date, like this:


SELECT *

FROM outing o

INNER JOIN horse h
ON h.hid = o.ohorseid

INNER JOIN Import i
ON i.Horse = REPLACE (h.hname, '''', '')
AND i.RaceDate = o.date



You always have to be careful with dates in SQL, because of the numerous different formats it supports (for internationalisation). The simplest way is to make sure your date column on Import is a Date datatype.

Have had to put this on the back burner for the last couple of weeks but can hopefully spend some time today looking at this again.
