Route away from the Poorhouse - Laying Odds on away

:text-goodpost:

Great going, you have to thank all the mug punters that lump on favourites away from home. They dont realise that playing away is like starting a goal down, home support, different pitch, travel etc etc so many things.

Both teams layed won 2-1 so a loss of €40.02 on the day. :(

Cheers mate.

I had been doing his bets for a while and kept getting different results from his so decided to print posts and compare to results.

Glad you could prove I was right.

It's a bit odd though as he has never tried to punt anything on there.

Two early and obscure ones today!

Lay Lions XII FC @ 1.93
Lay Nadi Shabab Al Ordon @ 1.81

Will be more later

One win one loss for a profit of .44! This time next year we'll be millionaires!

Two confirmed for later and one possible.

3.00 Lay Ahi Nazareth @ 1.93
7.45 Lay Luton @ 1.77

Welling will more than likely qualify also as a lay. Back later to confirm if it is a selection.

Welling game postponed this evening but other two afternoon/evening games were wins.

Profit of €41.60 on the day bringing our bank high up by €1.58!

Well done sward73, really enjoying the thread and the strategy - did the Luton game but struggled to find the obscure ones on Betfair earlier today (Malaysia?) or were they somewhere else? Keep up the good work - I'm just happy to have a positive bottom line! Hope it continues - Cheers:drinks:

Thanks for the interest synikal. Fixtures from yesterday were Malaysia, Israel and Telford. All obscure if you ask me!

If you go into any given days coupon on Betfair all the games should be shown there.

Todays
Lay Braga @ 1.87

Another possible lay of Al Jazira in UAE cup. Depends on what odds settle at when there is some liquidity in the market. I will update before KO if this is a selection.

Unfortunately Al Jazira qualifed and was a losing lay but we got compensation with Braga later on for a small profit of €1.84 on the day and a new bank high.

Two for today
Lay HJK Helsinkis @ 1.6
Lay Al Dharafa @ 1.85

50 % success rate with HJK winning 1-0 but Al Dharafa drew 1-1.

50% laying odds on means a bit more to the pot. Profit of €2.36.

Cheers lads.

No idea where Kyrgzstan (old USSR/CIS somewhere!) is and this probably shouldn't have been a lay either as it looks like it's being played at a neutral venue. The fixture is in the CIS cup.

I checked on futbol24 before posting lay as they usually have an indicator when game is being played at a neutral venue but didn't on this occasion.

Am going to count it in P&L though as I posted it up.

Let's hope we get lucky! Currently 1-1 approaching HT.

Central Asia, west of China, south of Kazakhstan - Has borders with China, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan - has a few border disputes with the Kazaks so a good little derby match!
A delightful place for a holiday - Kyrgyzstan is landlocked and entirely mountainous, dominated by the Tien Shan range. 94% of the country is 1,000 m above sea level with many tall peaks, glaciers, and high-altitude lakes - it also has the world's largest natural-growth walnut forest as well as lots of coal, oil and gas - and when you have had enough of that it's a major producer of cannabis for Asia and Europe, has a lot of inter-racial terrorism, high levels of water contamination and of course lots of government corruption to keep the economy going - wonderif they'll buy into the Premier League - or has that been done already?

Looking at past results looks like a fair chance of being successful despite going down 0-1 in first few mins. (missing the racing today - can you tell!)
